OUR FIRST GALLERY SPACE


355 SYDNEY RD, BRUNSWICK 

 

 

Location:  Wurundjeri Country - 355 Sydney Road, Brunswick VIC 3056

 

 

Breakdown of gallery space

 

Whole gallery:  (34m) $3200

Features: The space is a 13m long by 4.5m width, ceiling 3.8m, street front windows and door is a ceiling to floor glass windows facing Sydney with the beautifully restored timber floors and a hanging system.

 

 

Extra information:

All exhibitions run for a 3 week period with an opening and closing event on the first and final Thursday of your exhibition.

All sold artworks have a 10% commission.

 

 

Gallery hours:

Wednesday by appointment

Thursday - Friday 12pm to 6pm
Saturday - Sunday 12pm to 5pm

Opening on a Thursday night 6-8pm

OUR NEW GALLERY SPACE
 

 

528 SYDNEY ROAD, BRUNSWICK 

 

 

Location:  Wurundjeri Country - 528 Sydney Road on the corner of Blyth Street, Brunswick VIC 3056 

(Open from January 2027)

 

The two-storey building features five gallery spaces located on the ground floor. Upon entering through the double glass doors, you are greeted by a reception area to the right and the front gallery space to the left. Straight ahead, the foyer provides access to the remaining four gallery spaces, creating a central point from which visitors can explore the exhibitions.

 

 

Breakdown of gallery spaces

 

Space 1: Front space (22m) $3200

Features: room space is a 6.5m by 6m, ceiling 3.8m, two big windows floor to ceiling windows facing Sydney Road and Blyth Street, with a movable wall 2.4m high x 2.6m long x 30cm depth and a hanging system.

 

Space 2: Old safe (10m) $1000

Features: this is an old safe with ceiling 3.8m, painted white brick walls and original heavy safe door.

 

Space 3: Middle space (19m) $3000

Features: 6.4m by 4.5m with grand ornate ceiling 3.8m high and a hanging system.

 

Space 4: Back left (12m) $1500

Features: 3.8m by 2.5m with ceiling high 3m and a hanging system.

 

Space 5: Back (12m) $1500

Features: 3.8m by 3m with ceiling high 3m and a hanging system.

 

 

Extra information:

All exhibitions run for a 2 week period with an opening and closing event on both Friday nights from 6pm to 8pm.

All sold artworks have a 10% commission.

We’re excited to kick off Harlow Gallery’s 2027 calendar with a celebration of our beautiful and diverse LGBTQIA+ community. Harlow Gallery is located in the heart of Brunswick/Naarm, Melbourne.

 

We’re inviting queer artists to apply for the opportunity to have a solo exhibition or be one of the featured artists in a curated group exhibition.

 

- Exhibition: Wednesday 27 January – Sunday 7 February 2027
- Opening Night: Friday 29 January, 6–8 pm
- Second Event: Friday 5 February, 6–8 pm

INTERNATIONAL WOMENS WEEK- call out

In celebration of International Women’s Week, we are thrilled to announce an open call for women artists to participate in a solo, pairing, or curated group exhibition. Scheduled to take place from 24th February to 7th March 2027, this exhibition seeks to showcase the diverse talents of women artists across various mediums and styles. 

 

We invite submissions from artists at all stages of their careers who identify as women.

 

 

Submission Guidelines:

Eligibility:  Open to artists who identify as women and/or non binary

Exhibition Categories: Solo, pairing, or curated group

Mediums Accepted: All visual arts

Deadline for Submissions: 1st November 2026

 

- Exhibition: Wednesday 24 February - 7 March 2027
- Opening Night: Friday 26 February, 6–8 pm
- Second Event: Friday 5 March, 6–8 pm

- Gallery hours: Wed - Thurs 11-5pm, Fri 11-8pm, Sat 11-5pm, Sun 11-4pm

- Exhibitions runs 2 weeks (including installation and deinstallation)

- Installation on Tuesday

- Opening night on Friday Night 6-8pm

- Second event on the following Friday 6-8pm 

- De-install on Sunday 4pm

- Installing exhibition we are here to assist

- Option to have your work framed in-house at a discounted rate

- 10% off for booking the entire gallery

If anyone don’t want a solo, please let us know and we can help match you with other artists to share the space.   

HOW TO APPLY

  • Exhibition proposal , no more than 150 words 
  • Include preferred gallery space.
  • Included time of year
  • Preferred type of exhibition - Solo, pairing, curated group
  • Include 5-10 images (JPG format). 
  • If you share access to a google drive, please ensure the sharing is "open to anyone".
  • Provide links to your website, social media or Curriculum Vitae if available.
