List of Artists

Ashton Wastney

Nelson raised artist Ashton Wastney approaches his works without premeditation and uses the medium to communicate methods of understanding the subconscious. Then forming bases of anatomical and physiological aspects he instinctively reveals moments of chance and emotions — this embodies a distortion of mental clarity and consciousness.

Charlotte Ivey

Charlotte Ivey is originally from Aotearoa/New Zealand. Much of her recent work is led by influences of the body – such as the illusory nature of psychological states, and how they affect our experience of external environments. She is also increasingly influenced by Australian geology and flora.

Josh Simpson

Josh Simpson is a Melbourne-based artist whose work explores the threshold between fantasy and reality. Filled with visual tropes and clichés his work playfully comments on contemporary experience and his place within it. Imbued with whimsy and unease, his bold use of colour, gentle gradients and layered surfaces are both arresting and unsettling.

Sandra Espinoza

Espinoza’s abstract oil paintings have been showcased in numerous local exhibitions, including several group and solo shows between 2023 and 2025. In June of 2024, Espinoza participated in a one-month artist residency with Can Serrat in Barcelona. Revisiting the works of Picasso and Miro, amongst contemporary works during her stay in Barcelona, reignited her passion for modern and minimalist art. Participation in residency opportunities has been extremely rewarding, productive and pivotal to Espinoza’s future direction as a painter and has confirmed her commitment to an intuitive practice.
